Why does QVC have "easy payment plans" for $19 items?

Stuck at home for the weekend and watching QVC with the mom...

Question....

If someone needs a payment plan for a $19 item, do they really need to be buying it in the first place?
 
If they charge any interest it's to get morons to pay. Although I really don't know as I've always blocked all of the shop at home networks in my house.

No, I just hate having the shopping crap in the channel lineup so I block 'em all.

Because these people sit at home buying sh*t while their husband is at work and then we wonder why he comes home year after year, tired from work and his wife buying this crap on tv and takes an axe to her neck.
