Last time I checked, Puerto Ricans were American citizens ... why are they playing against us?

We should have just sent those guys over there to play for the USA team.

That's like saying people from Washington DC can't play on the USA team and
need to form their own team.

no they're not, they're puerto ricans. Like American Samoa are American samoaons, and so on for each and every american territory.

The players from Puerto Rico are proud to represent their country
and play to and above their capabilities.

The American players mailed it in and could care less... they've
got their money in the bank.

It would have been even sweeter seeing the "top players" like
Shaq and co. getting rocked.

Those players from Puerto Rico probably don't make a lot of $$$ so they played harder and wanted to win more.

The NBA players didn't care too much or they jus thad no team cohesion?

I reckon if Shaq went he would have fought hard and turned the game around. He doesn't like to lose and he fights for it from what little I have seen of him. Not pretty bball but he gets the job done and scores.

Face it, the days of USA dominating countries by a 40 point margin is over. Even if you sent out your current best 12. The current best 12 will get u gold, but nowhere as pretty as the original Dream Team.

This team right here, I'm not even sure they will bring back a medal.

this is what i was thinking

the American Team just do not care. what's in it for them? a gold medal? pfft not the risk of getting hurt and losing the big bucks.

It kinda makes me sad that they just don't care. i think i would rather have college kids playing again that want to be there then these players now.


I also don't think they are going to bring back a medal.
