Hi,
I've been playing Need For Speed Underground 2 for quite a while now since it came out and I've noticed that it will lag occasionally.
Instances when it will lag :
1) after running a microcontroller simulation program (TExaS if any of you know of it)
2) after my MSN pops a msg while I am playing and after that, it will lag
3) if NFSU 2 crashed and I restart it
4) sometimes but I have yet to pinpoint the problem
It will run fine if its after a fresh restart. Why ?
I was wondering if it was the programs mentioned that are tying up the memory and how do I force Windows to release the memory ?
Specs of my comp is as follows:
P4 2.6 G(overclocked)
Radeon 9800XT (256 MB)
1 Gig DDR 350(overclocked) Ram
Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.
