Why do they let companies with a $400 2.1 satellite speaker system call it "audiophile"?

seems like a fair review to me... I just dont understand why he gave it 5/5 when he should have given it 0 or 1 out of 5

newegg says in their FAQ (or disclaimer, one of them) to not trust the posted reviews and base your decision on them. Always look for reviews on google or decent review sites (like anandtech!)

Probably did it so it would slip though the rating check. I usually don't see many 0-2 star ratings on there.

Because Newegg is more likely to put up reviews with 5/5. And how does the OP know that he doesn't own (or owned) these speakers?

that kid was def trashing the product they had the review for. that was a 2.1, the kid was saying the 5.1 is much better. newegg must have no caught that (they dont usually post negative reviews on any product).

Anyway - I have found that the more quality or best bang for buck products on newegg are the ones with the MOST reviews, not the ones with the best reviews.

actually (from what i understand) the system is near referrence quality (unlike the pro media ultras).

edit: yup the satelites are actually the RSX-3s.
