The only thing I can think is they don't want customers bring them their dvds to them instead for quicker round trip time and more dvds.

They do, and they use commercial PO boxes for receiving the DVDs. They don't have a physical box, but the PO sorts and then delivers the DVDs to them, on a truck generally. Not like they don't mark the centers, just that they're not designed for pickup. Kind of like you can't go to the Newegg warehouse in Jersey to pick up orders.

When they did a report on them on the local Niwitness News here they specifically said they couldn't disclose where they were located. I thought it was pretty odd myself since I could pretty much figure out they were somewhere in Gaithersburg, MD since that is the address on the mailers.

Maybe thats why it took a week w/o them sending any movies before I cancelled the service.

So Blockbusters can't hire ninja's to infiltrate their warehouses and replace all of the family movies with pron or something.

yea well then they'd basically have to set it up as a store...and man it.

people bothering your truck drivers isn't great either.

Yeah, the PO box goes to the Shady Grove hub. I'm pretty sure they have a warehouse on E. Gude somewhere. I've just never gone looking for it.

No shit. I'm surprised he didn't include something about his projector in this thread.

Because a delivery truck with Netflix emblazoned all over it might as well have "ROB ME" emblazoned all over it instead?

Google is secretive about their buildings as well. There was a call center/data center or something that opened up in the Atlanta metro area and you wouldn't realize it because the building is completely unmarked.

Damn that's cool. Man south San Jose is an awesome area. I've only lived here 4 months but I sure love it so far.

This is why I have blockbuster online. I just drop my HD DVDs off at the store and they mark it as received the same day.
