Why does my windshield ice up when other cars don't?

I have 95 Honda Civic and my windows form ice like crazy. I come out in the morning and 2 cars sitting right next to it are clear and mine is iced up. I hate having to scrape them every morning. Anyone know why it would do this and other cars next to it wouldn't? Anything I can do or buy to make them not ice over as easy? Anything that will make the ice easier to scrape off?

No because this also happens with I go off with some friends and when we come back mine are iced up and my friends car isn't.

Also my neighbors live in my basement so I know they are home all night.

You could try buying some of that stuff that you put in windows that makes water run off easier. You could get a better ice scraper. You could always make someone else scrape off the ice for you! :D :D

try one of those windshield polisher thingies that allows water and moisture to not stick onto the glass. you know, like RainAway and similar products.

Thanks for the suggestions, I will grab some next time I am at Walmart. Anyone else have any other suggestions?

Get your windshield a professionally-applied ITO (indium tin oxide) coat and the proper wiring, and you won't even care about the icing.

get a whole bunch of clear cellophane and put it on your windshield before leaving your car at night. In the morning rip it off and stow it away. Repeat and you wont have to worry about ice :)

ok I havent tried that yet, but it seems like it would work.

what if the cellophane rips? then you'd have to start all over again :) snow isn't exactly light as... a feather.. (i mean, big bundles of it, like 1 foot on your car :p)

they have stuff you can buy exactly for this.

its like a silvery mat (like a thermal matt you put beneath your sleeping bag) that you put on your front windshield

it works great, i used to have one.

Just take an old towel and pin it with the wiperblades.

Mine neither, but that's because my windshield is in southern Arizona.

I'm in AZ, and I sometimes have problems with ice in the mornings...

Just a thought-- is it real hot in your car before you shut it off?

Try turning off your heater and cruising the last 2 blocks with the windows open

If you call those defrosting lines on the rear window heaters, then yes. BTW, ITO is transparent.
