Why does my w2k machine keep crashing

I have a KT7-R running w2k, every couple of days or so, it would just shut down in the middle of things. No error message or anything like that. Just shuts down and restarts. Never happened in w98. Does anyone have the same experience?

Your power supply may be dying. What kind do you have? I've also heard that heat can sometimes make a computer do this.

I have the orginal Antec 1030sx power supply. It didn't do that under w98, why would it do so in w2k?

-Chances are that the heat is the cause of your problem. Try installing an additional fan, or using a larger case with better airflow. Good Luck

I have 4 case fans, 1 powersupply fan, a cpu fan, a slot fan, a hardrive fan. My cpu temp is OK.
