Why does my VGA signal suck on the 24"? 56k warning

Have a little question here. I'm not too keen on the specifications behind monitor build quality.

My issue right now is with a BenQ G2400WD, a TN panel that supports dvi/vga/hdmi inputs. The 19" pictured is from a TN Samsung 19" (912n)

Well, I built a system with onboard video so it uses a vga output in the back. When I connected the 24" to it, it's fuzzy and not as clear as a 22", 19" and 17" I have sitting around. I tried playing with the OSD, doesn't change much. When I use the HDMI/DVI output on my other system it is crystal sharp clear. I thought DVI wasn't supposed to be this noticeable?

Why or what is the cause for this?

The cables being used are standard ones, nothing special about them.
Used 1920x1200 on the 24" and 1280x1024 on the smaller monitors.

See the pics below for what I'm talking about. It's hard to get a good photo but I hope it makes sense.

Could simply be the monitor has bad components for converting and scaling a VGA signal.
It's not like all monitors are the same.

Also remember that VGA is analog so the image can deteriorate,etc... even before the LCD monitor attempts to convert them into digital.
Therefore may be you are losing some data somewhere along the line when doing 1920 x 1200 while the 1280 x 1024 does not lose as much.

Higher resolution is always less clear with an analog signal. After a point, it really starts to get noticeable.
