Why does my screen goes blank after a period of inactivity?

Why does my screen goes blank after a period of inactivity? I disabled the screen saver and I disabled the option of the OS turning off the screen. Yet, the screen will still turn itself off after a period of inactivity.

I have the Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H B3. I don't recalled seeing such an option in the BIOS.

Yea, I disabled the screen saver and the OS from turning off the screen. What more is there for me to do?

Go into the power options in Windows. Your computer is going to Sleep.
