Why would my post beep come through my main speakers and my internal speaker. When I boot up the beep will about knock me over it is so loud unless I turn my speaker volume all the way down.

Open the mixer for your soundblaster which most likely shows up on the task bar. If there's visible setting for PC Speaker, you'll want to mute it. If it's not there, go into the options menu in the mixer and into properties and check off the PC Speaker volume control listed at the bottom. This will make it visible so you can mute it.

My SBLive Value has a two pins labeled Computer Spkr (or PC spkr or something) on it, which I assume is what you would connect your motherboard spkr out (the beeper) to -> check your soundcard.
