Why does my laptop always disable my wifi card

Triumph

My Thinkpad doesn't like the PCMCIA slot or something. After coming back from suspend, the wifi card won't load. You can unplug it and plug it back in, and nothing happens. Scanning for hardware changes in Device Manager sometimes finds it, but when it does it has an "error," so I have to reboot anyway. Sometimes you can plug it into the other slot, it will find it, but again it has errors. Doesn't seem like much rhyme or reason to when it decides to do this. Any thoughts?

get a card/laptop that are CCXv3 compatible....that is one of the tests performed to get the certification from Cisco.
