If I leave my computer on for a while, my internet eventually just dies out, so website are all inaccessible. However my Trillian still stays connected, and things are back to normal after a restart..what can I do?

I've heard of recent versions of ZA crapping out internet connections and some bw throttlers, too.

You should call your ISP when it goes down and ask them if it's still making a connection and try and have them trouble shoot.

are you on a wireless connect? I have a problem with Linux and wireless. I only got it under what I thought was a heavy load. Upon shutting down, or restarting PC card services, it would say, 'Error 114 (can't remember the number) Error writing TX descriptor to BAP"

Hmm, I've never checked =/

Do so.. it could just be your DHCP lease messing it up.

Hmm, I didn't check, but my lease time is 1 week.

So if it were affecting other computers, or if it isn't, what can I do in either case?

And I'm using XP..
