Everytime I remove the power cord from the back of my computer I have to change which OS my computer is running. I change it and then save it to the CMOS and it is remembered as long as I never remove the plug. Also when I remove the plug the clock gets reset on my computer. Is there someway I can fix this?

My guess is you have a bad CMOS battery. Just go out and buy a new battery, there kinda expensive for a battery but it's not all that bad. Not sure where you can find one bcoz i've never had to find one myself.

Thanks guys.

One more question... Is I hear my computer have a piercing noise. It's like a really high pitched noise... What is that? It seems liek it's my HD stopping or slowing down or something but I really have no idea.

Any ideas?

One more question actually. My computer is really loud and hot... Would heatsinks (Which is the fan over the CPU, right?) or just some case fans work best?

My guess would be a problematic battery too.
About the fan i asked the same thing too before and told me about Zalman
