Why does my case collect dust so fast ?

Because it is dusty in your house and because computer cases (and connectors) are not well designed.

Negative pressure cases will always be full of dust which is just silly.

The intake fan has a filter, so cleaning that regularly will improve the situation somewhat. However since the case has negative air pressure (more exhaust airflow than intake airflow), dust will get in through openings other than the front filter. If you want better dust control, move the rear 120mm fan to the side panel as an intake and buy a filter for it. Optionally add another 120mm fan to the side panel as it supports two

why does dust collect so fast inside your PC?

What is Static?
Why is Static dangerous to PC?
What does static do to dust?

😀

Yup.. your PC is a static generating BOX.
Which in turn generates dust due to static attraction.

The only thing u can try to do is minimize the dust introduction.
But once u have dust introduction, its like a coupling meeting... the dust will find a nice spot to land in a static filled motherboard / GPU.

You could get one of those hepa dust filters. Some of the cheap ionizers arent worth it, i would do some research on this if the dust is pretty bad where you live.

Do to the wifes 5 cats the pc room must be to be vacuumed twice a week.
My 2500k or net pc is on the bare floor under the desks so it gets very little cleaning maybe twice a year at most.
To help keep the dust away from the rear mounted radiator I switched the side120x100cfm fan to blow out which made a big difference.
The game pc is on milk a crate and is vacuumed every two weeks to help keep the dust out of the stock video card coolers.

A well designed airflow/filtration system is great to have in a case if you ask me. My Antec 300 has very little dust on the inside of the case even after 3 - 4 months of use. The filter on the front intake fans is definitely helping to keep the dust out.

Cases are leaky.
The amount of perceived positive or negative pressure is just that... "perceived" not demonstrable.
Cases are leaky and because of this any case with negative pressure will suck in dust. My Antec has holes in the door punched in the shape of the Antec logo. Not too surprisingly after many years of operation you can now read the Antec logo in dust dots inside the case.

If enclosures were designed with dust in mind they would first filter the air, then blow clean filtered air into the case. Holes or leaks would not matter because they would only be venting clean air into the house (instead of sucking in dusty air, like they do in a negative pressure case). The positive pressure would keep contaminants out, kinda like the way they do with tanks or sensitive ink jet printer heads:

The M1 is also equipped to handle chemical or biological attack. An advanced air filter system purifies all air coming into the tank so the crew isn't at risk.
