I have a samsung burner that has always worked fine up until lately. It copies & burns small CDs just fine, but if I try to burn a CD that is full or above 400 MB the little bastard screws up when it gets to the last 40 MB. It tells me there is a buffer underrun. It doesn't make sense to me though because nothing has changed on the computer (fresh install of Win98) and smaller CDs burn just fine. I'm using Adaptec Easy CD creator 4.0 Deluxe and it's updated. Any ideas??

Yeah, get a real burning software package like Nero! Not to be rude, I just don't really like Adaptec.

No $hit, considering I've already tried that and it didn't work at all!! Better insight please!

The burner is an external model that was bought from APS. The actual burner is a Samsung, but I've had troubles getting it's real identity. I know it writes at 8x.

Thanks.
