barton 2800 oc to 2.41Ghz
8rda+ @ 200Mhz FSC
corsair ddr400 @ 6,2,2,2
Vcore 1.85

this is the wierdest thing. i start my computer this morning and do some 3dmark03 before i leave for work and i score a 697 for my cpu score. i turn it off and go to work...

i come home do the same thing and it crashes into windows....so i up the voltage from 1.85 to 1.875 and all has been beautiful...no crashes. but i noticed my 3dmark score has dropped from 5103 to a steady 5040. and my cpu score has gone from 697 to like 688. am i over the point of max speed and just trying to get overkill or am i just looking too deep into these dumb little numbers.

and can someone varify that if your computer crashes out of a benchmark but doesn't lock up thats a sign that you need some more voltage right? and i'm doing some burn in tests now and it seems to be hovering around 44.5C. is that getting a little on the hot side?? if i go down to 2.31Ghz i can lower my Vcore to 1.75 which would be a lot cooler...do you think its a good idea to drop back or hold on to the 2.41??

The extra 100mhz isn't worth the extra voltage and heat required to get there IMO. It's why I run my 2500+@2.3ghz 1.632v instead of 2.4ghz 1.775v.
