Hi there,

I jst finished building my computer (AMD 3500 winchester). It should run at 2.2 Ghz which is the standard rating for that chip, but when I right click on my computer and click properties, it says that its running at 1.61 Ghz

I have a DFI lanparty nF4 ultra D mobo, and I am wondering what do I need to do to get the processor running at normal speed. Is it a bios setting?

thanks for the help.

It is possible that you got ripped off. What does the rating on the chip say? Oh, and what kind/speed memory are you using.

People seem to be having a lot of problems with CPU speed latley, especially A64s...

that was the trick, I really appreciate it john.

Do you know the optimal settings for that MOBO by any chance, I want to make sure I take advantage of everything it has. I dont need to overclock though.

thanks again
