Why does my 13" Dell laptop weigh 5+ lbs?

I have a 13" Dell 3379 (Win10) laptop.
When i bought it (on sale), i didnt even look at the weight.
I assumed it was 3lbs or less since it was 13".

2 yrs later, i picked up my sister's 15.6" laptop and it felt lighter than my 13".
looked up the specs and it weighs 5.x lbs?!

What makes it so heavy?

its a latitude, tend to be built better than the inspiron line

i googled "dell 3379 weight" and top result came back 2.5kg, which is 5.5 lbs
