Good morning guys,
Some interesting replies. I am totally digital in my PC; i haven't used that analog CD-to-mobo/soundcard cable in years. I play the music over the IDE cable like any good geek should. ;)

I don't have any audiophile-grade equipment...all my money is in my truck/PC Hardware and of course, CDs. ;) To be fair, I've never played an MP3 of any bitrate on my HT since it doesn't play MP3s. I have a mid-grade Kenwood receiver/Kenwood speakers.Cerwin-Vega sub. It sounds good enough for me.

When I listen to MP3s or ripped .wav files, it's over my PC, played thru a set of Klipsch ProMedia 4.1s.

But hey, maybe I've finally flipped my lid after all these years...it was bound to happen one day. :) Have a good day, AT.
