happy now? you guys just schooled, owned, served, and flamed a retard. :! :)
[/EDIT]

[OP]
He doesn't get that much play time to begin with, and when he actually gets on court or even touches the ball, the crowd boo him. Is it because of his dad?

maybe because bill walton was his father who was on the celtics, and the celts and lakers were rivals in the 80s.

okay, unless you are Japanese and cannot pronounuce the "L" part phonetically and have to replace it with a "B," then I would agree. Either that or I have to get my ears and sanity checked.

Dude, if you don't believe me, you don't know your Laker history. The fans have been saying anyone with an "ooo" iin their name as a chant. Trust me. We did it at the Forum, we did it again at Staples. It started with Cooper and even a few teams picked up on it as welll. It's a fact not an opinion.

Get your ears checked. It's LUUUUUUUUUUUUUUKE.

Same thing used to happen when Lou Pinella would get cheers in Seattle. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOU.

Everyone is saying "Luuuuuuuuuuuke!!!"

We all love Luke.
First hes the son of Bill Walton (so its somewhat tongue in cheek, since well all hate Bill Walton)
And then he ALWAYS passes the ball. So it's kind of a cheer for him to actually to do something or take a shot.

I am your father.

LOL!

Going back to the OP's question, as many have said already, the fans are not booing him at all. In my opinion, he's not really bad for this team at all. He can pass, and he's developing an outside shot. Well, at least he hit a few three-pointers, especially in one of the Laker home games against the Spurs. But he is a rookie and is prone to mistakes once in a while.
