Alot of people in my office are into LV stuff for whatever reason. There are these two newish people who were wasting company time looking at this 1k LV purse online. Their paycheck isn't even that much after tax and they want to blow it all on a stupid purse?? WTF?

One of those guys keeps talking about how he wants to buy an X5 and I'm like, what about a house?? You're gonna buy a f*cking 50k+ car before you buy a house??? He was like, well I haven't really thought about it.

I swear my office is filled with some dumbass mutherf*ckers. The worst part is society as a whole takes the hit when they fall flat on their faces financially.

I saw some lady at work [mind you, I work in Newport Beach] come in with one of those purses.. Only reason I recognized it was because my sister has a fake she got in China that looks like the real deal.. for a fraction of the cost.

i'm asian (which pretty much means every asian girl i know has at least one o those purses)
and when i was in korea i bought some fake ones for my friends but it's def not as good as the real thing. yes even the super high quality ones. (even those are like $100+)

now most of you prolly won't understand dropping $500 for pieces of leather stitched up together, those things last forever. (the real ones anyway) and even if they get muffed up, LV will fix/replace them for the lifetime of the product. when was the last time your vid card came w/ that kind of warranty aftter you dropped $400 for the latest and greatest for 6 months.. $500 to last a life time vs $400 that's good for a year, maybe two..

as for the 12k purse.. i guess if you got money to burn, you got money to burn...

I know a shop in Chinatown that sells the real stuff. But for the rubes who don't know they have bags that they just switch out the labels on. Looks good, and if you didn't follow fashion than how you would you know?

Any designer label costs money, it's not a big deal. If you don't want to pay $12k for a purse than don't pay $12k for it. Of course, if this is what you need there are always ways to get it at a discount - sales, out of season discounts, outlets, warehouse sales, employee discount.
