Why does laser printer toner smell so good!

I have this bad habit at work where I would smell freshly printed paper. How much do i have to sniff before i get a high?

I was bored today at work (damn red call queue) so I grabbed a cartridge from one of our wide format lasers & tore it open.

I have a developing roller & an imaging drum now as toys. And a plastic garbage bag full of cartridge parts & a whole crapload of toner.

It's great, I can roll the developing roller around on my desk & my monitor changes colors.

HAHA! IT's gonna have your ass for ruining a monitor. 😀 Then again, they don't care. The monitors they use are a dime a dozen

I know better than to hurt the monitor.

This roller isn't strong enough to do much damage anyway, but a 12" wide magnet is fun.

I dont know if they still do this in grade school but i remember the teacher would run off to make copies and shed come back with a fresh stack of copies. i dont think anyone could forget the smell fresh copies in grade school the ones with the blue ink. They were done by placing a master copy on a drum and crankign out copies. i cant recall at the moment the name of the machine
