Why Does Itunes run so crappy..?

Every windows computer I run itunes on runs like crap why is that?

Is any one else getting lag on it?>

Post your computer specs, it may just be that your system is heavily infected with malware or spyware.

Not its not.

Apple develops iTunes and Quicktime applications for OS/X then ports them to Windows. Ported applications dont often run well. I'd be suprised if Apple hired Windows programmers for the development of these ports. They probably use the same team for both OS's.

Itunes is very bloated. I'd suggest different software; winamp, foobar, even WMP.

Yeah, on my existing system and new system that I'm finishing building and even on my laptop, iTunes runs about the same. Clunky software.

QuickTime also runs clunky.

Hmm, iTunes never bothered me...

Takes awhile to load, but after that it works perfectly fine on my x2 3800 system. Worked just as well on my XP2800. Don't know what your systems problem is.
