Why does it take 3-4 weeks for the mac minis to ship?

yet it says itll take 3-4 weeks to ship.

Yep. Wait about two months for the Mac Mini to become passé and (Insert other snooty defamation here), then the same trendsetters who sprayed their shorts at MacWorld will sell them by the boatload because they don't match the new Ikea offerings.
