Why does it seem that men tend to stray more while their wives are pregnant?

Have you ever been with a pregant woman?

As much as you want to be with them, to say they turn into complete bitches would be the understatement of the year.

I imagine older women don't get quite as bad, but my ex was a complete psycho when she was pregnant. If most women are anything like she was, I can understand why guys stray. It takes a lot of willpower and commitment to be true to someone who at times leaves no doubt in your mind that they hate your guts.

Because men are humans, and humans are mostly scum. Not saying pregnant women are easy to live with (I'm lucky enough not to have been down that route - but I've heard the horror stories), but, as with anything else, it's your responsibility to deal with the ups & downs of a situation you put yourself into. It's too bad such a small fraction of people are willing to do that.
