Ordered stuff from NewEgg yesterday and it's not coming until Tuesday. Damn FedEx and there lack of shipping on weekends. Seems like bad business to me, but I'm sure the FedEx workers appreciate it.

1. How about we make you work 7 day workweeks.
2. They do deliver on Saturday, if you pay for it.
3. Most shipments go to businesses, which are also closed weekends.

People tend to like not working weekends or at least they want to be paid more for it.

Just because you would like them to deliver on weekends, doesn't mean it would make business/economic sense to do so. They are a business and at the end of the day they would do what increases their value relative to costs.

There are always people at work, however, they do not deliver on Sundays unless you use a higher priority service (ex. First Overnight, Fedex Sameday, ect..)

Both of those services cost a lot of money.

In another 20 or so years, I bet Sunday delivery will be normal. But not now.

I got a package from FedEx on Saturday recently too. And I didn't request or pay for Saturday delivery. It was just a FedEx Home delivery.

Actually...

You can ship FedEx Express packages on Saturday. Saturday counts as Friday, so overnight is still Monday and 2nd day is still Tuesday.

If your package is at the station on a Saturday, you CAN go in and pick it up.

And FedEx Ground Home Delivery delivers on Saturday.

AFAIK, UPS and DHL don't do anything on Saturday unless you pay extra for it. ;)

But you sound like you just wanted to whine, so here I've gone and given you a real answer...
