Why does external 1394 does not show on desktop ::

Cables and case are all brand new.. I even got a new 1394 PCI card for it.. it works on other PCs on the network but this one does not ? I tried updating the drivers and it is in Win2k with SP2.. all 6 other PCs work but this one does not.. I notice that on the case there is 2 ports.. I tried one or the other for other 1394 devices and that makes a difference but not this. Why ???:brokenheart:
