I didn't mind him too much. Some of the episodes he was in were stupid (the whole 'traveler' bit) but it wasn't enough to make me hate him. He had some good episodes too. I liked the one where he was a stunt pilot at the academy. One of his wingmen was the same guy who played Tom Paris from Voyager. Does anyone know if this was supposed to be the same character, or was it just the same actor?

His website is funny (read: sad) as hell. I laughed at the pathetic stuff he wrote when his part got cut from Nemesis.

Same character IIRC.

The guy who played Tuvok appeared in Generations, I think, as a human.

Yeah, I think I remember him being in two Generations episodes.

Well, it was really the writers' fault. They wrote too many "Wesley saves the ship" eps.

He ruined so many episodes... Episodes that focused around him were almost as bad as those focused around Troi or the holodeck.

Jealousy. They all wish they could be the Traveller.

I'll also always remember him as Gordy from "Stand by Me."

I loved it when Captain Picard kicked him off the bridge in the first season. Picard hated Wesley. Probably had something to do with him killing Wesley's dad; some kind of latent emotions that he couldn't control.

I remember that episode vaguely (Picard had hair;)) where they do a flashback to when he died...what exactly happened?

He should have aimed lower, and a couple years earlier. Could have stopped Wesley from webbing our lives. Plus mom would have been much more acceptable to advancment.

I always hated how he cocked his head to the side whenever he stood up and would walk somewhere.

He reminds the nerds of themselves???

Also you can't deny he was pretty annoying. I would have shoved him out an airlock in the pilot and be done with it :D

The episode where he was part of the stunt team changed his goody-two-shoes image. He fell into the misplaced-loyalty game and was willing to lie or omit truth for the sake of his friends/team and not the greater good. Picard made the point to him that things would "not be easy" for him as he was kept back a year from graduating. The insinuation was that there would be a lot of taunting and ostracizing, and ole Wesley had to buck up and take it.

He was not likeable in that episode as a person (character), and for me, did a lot to dispel his "perfect" behavior label.

Personally, the shows I liked least had that woman who replaced Dr. Crusher on the show for a few seasons. Can't think of her name, but she was also on LA Law, and had the distinction of dying in an elevator shaft...one of those "hey, watch that first step...it's a doozy!"
