Why does everyone hate Tom's Hardware suddenly?

I've heard alot of talk about how Tom's is "going downhill", and I was just wondering if it's a general consensus that it's not the reliable website it used to be?....or if people are mistaken. I still visit the site for reviews and I wanna know if it's smart that I continue to do so!

Stopped visiting when things went down between Harvey and Tom. Tom is an asshat.
 
They have some decent articles, They at least attempt to put some humor into them. Other places are getting boring to read anymore.
 
It's not sudden. He's been hated for quite some time here just like his members hate us. He's bias for Intel while Anand is bias for AMD. Only Tom hasn't sold out to advertisements up the wazoo yet.

I remember when anand's articles preferred Intel.

This didn't suddenly happen, just because we didn't post about our feelings concering THG, doesn't mean that we didn't.

I also, for me at least, wouldn't say hate; i think they write crappy reviews, and i am appalled that they take money to slant benchmarks, but Tom himself is supposed to be a Genius.

Anand's first "donation" was by AMD. If you read his wording very carefully you'll see the reflection of his loyalties.
 
Read this absolutely horrible $500 budget system building guide. It does a pretty good job in showing how badly Tom's has gone downhill. This "How to" guide is amazingly bad... These guys never ever bothered to order a case for the system, and then blew $59 on a silent power supply for a $500 gaming computer. :disgust:
