the guy can't act worth shizzle. IMHO he doesn't put any emotion into his parts...he was darned cute in jerry maguire, though. i loathe him, but nothing personal :D

factoid:

-he's born on july 3rd. he acted in a movie born on the 4th of july. my bday is on...july 4th.:disgust:

Umm...

1) Jealousy
2) popular and/or successful things must be hated!

I personally can't stand people who go by #2. But that's just me.

He's human, and Vanilla Sky is a great movie. :p
I agree. Maybe it's because Nicole Kidman was able to garner a lot of public sympathy after Tommy Boy dumped her.

1. I like him as an actor. He's up there in my Top 10.
2. Vanilla Sky is an awesome movie. The only people who I have met that didn't like it either didn't like movies where there wasn't something blowing up every 2 minutes or if the person just failed to try and connect the plot in any way.

Let everybody else keep hating him. I could care less. He still makes great movies, imho.

Jealousy, of course. I have no problem with him. I just saw Minority Report again over the weekend. What an awesome movie!

I think he's OK because of Days Of Thunder and the fact that Top Gun led to Hot Shots :)

Because of stupid crap he says like this. And what everyone else who hated him says. Screw him, America is good enough to make him rich but eh doesn't want to raise his children here. I heard htey have some nice schools in North Korea.

but yea, nicole > penelope.

nicole >>>>> penelope.

nicole Really Right Shifted penelope? Can I get that on pay-per-view?

As far as worst movie mankind has ever produced, you guys ever watch street fighter? Reign of Fire?

I don't mind Tom cruise as an actor, sure there are better thespians, but there are worse ones as well.

As a person, I don't mind him so much either because when he divorced nicole, he gave us nerds a small teeny little shred of hope in an otherwise female-less void.

Edit: Sig changing.

I have no doubt that he said something like that, but the report might have taken his comments out of context. You got any other examples of stupid crap that he has said?

So what if he wants to raise them outside of the US? Australia isn't bad by any means. I love those Aussies! :)

Plus, America isn't exactly in the best state of affairs currently (economically, socially, politically) so I don't blame him for being 'concerned'.
