StormRider - Actually its really nice, its salty and spicy with a smooth texture. You really have to try it.

So, why do people frown when hearing that koreans eat dogs!

I am not korean, but I had dog dish years ago.

I don't think people frown upon dog eating not because it tastes bad or there is something gross about it. Rather it has to do with the fact that in this culture dogs are pets and you don't eat pets! 😉

I cannot bring myself to eat something that can love me and I truly feel that a dog is capable of love.

But when you get right down to it, it's really no different from eating a pig. And from what I understand a pig is probably as smart or smarter than a dog and hence probably also capable of "loving" a human. So, it's really about culture and the way you are raised.

BTW, I have an uncle that visited China recently and he and some of my cousins tried dog meat there (the other cousins who were more "Americanized" refused to eat it). Apparently, they even raise dogs to eat there.

Do any restaurants serve it? It's not something that I can actually make myself. 😉

You may find it at an English Pub type place. I cant recall seeing it at a store here in the US, but take a look next time you are there.
After doing a quick search, you wont be able to buy traditional English Black Pudding because they aren't importing it, due to Mad Cows... I am not sure whether the US produces any of their own.

I'll be on the lookout for English Pub type places then! 🙂

Hehe, I forgot about the Mad Cow thing... I only want US cow liver in mine. 😉

I don't blame you.
When you do get a chance to try it, let me know what you thought of it 🙂
