I know exactly what you are saying. I thought it was gonna be the end of a great band when they started playing Cake on MTV and radio(outside of sacramento). But it hasnt changed them one bit, their is still the same quallity and even throught the change in some members they have stayed true. Just goes to show you if you resist the machine your creativity will flourish.

Because they aren't just making the music for you. Believe it or not, some of these bands actually would like to possibly make a living at what they do, getting some radio play is part of that. I'm sure they are very happy being on the radio.
<< New Found Glory
AFI
Pennywise
Mest
Bad Religion
And now, Saves The Day >>
Wow, those bands get played on the radio? Maybe I should start listening, sounds good. I did hear Bad Religion on commercial radio once like six years ago though, but that was it.
