Yes. District Taco. It's a taco truck that is mostly in Arlington. They have different stuff every day, but various mole are in the rotation I think.

Tomorrow is Tuesday, so they will be in Crystal City at the corner of 23rd and Crystal Dr.

EDIT: Oh shit. They have a restaurant on Lee Hwy just past Lee-Harrison. Going to be a tough choice between them and Taqueria Poblano now. I would also suggest Taqueria Poblano while I'm at it, they have one in Old Town or in Lee Harrison next to the Harris Teeter. Not sure on their mole situation, but decent food.

Umm... they are like Subway. They only put what you want in it. If they put rice in it and you didn't want them to, you failed to communicate what you wanted. And fajita burritos usually have rice no matter where you go. They are awesome.

Why do idiots insist on making a possessive out of every retail place name? Also, why do they then usually fail and leave out the apostrophe? It's "Chipotle Mexican Grill" and you can shorten that to "Chipotle" if you want with no need for a tacked-on letter s. I bet you call Walmart "Walmarts" too.

Oh, and FWIW, bean is a filler too (see the chili + beans thread). You can get rice filler or bean filler and Chipotle is no different. Take your pick and stop complaining.

This suggests they use Basmatti, but I've done it with using Jasmine rice, simply subbing out some of the water for lime juice. Comes out pretty good, especially with the distinct flavor of the cilantro.

Maybe generally true, but I've seen a number of reasonable responses here. Some people just don't like the taste of Chipotle. That's fine by me. And while it seems like the OP is irrationally hating on Chipotle, he is (as others have pointed out) the living embodiment of stupid. So don't take him seriously


While we're at it, my favorite thing to do is order 2 burrito bowls, one veggie and one meat. Get pinto beans in one, black beans in the other, plus guac with the veggie. Add whatever else I feel like (generally peppers/onions, lettuce, tomatos, cheese). Combine them at home for a tastelicous mix.

The better question is why Chipotle puts cilantro in their rice. Why you would force that devil's weed on anyone I have no idea. At least have some rice available without that nasty stuff in it.

You can ask for rice without cilantro at Chipotle. My friend does it all the time and they have it available.

Chipotle is not what most consider FF. There is no drive through and they serve alcohol in many places. Even so, it's probably considered "Fast Casual," like Five Guys/Subway, by many, which I'm more inclined to agree with.

Chipotle's rice is delicious, I always ask for extra and they give it no extra charge without skimping on any of the other ingredients either.

You can get extra meat if you ask for it but they'll almost always charge more unless you know the staff to be generous

they don't use basmati rice, its just regular white rice. The ingredients are vegetable (soybean) oil, cilantro, citrus juice (lemon and lime), and kosher salt. And the rice is cooked with a few bay leaves in it.

I used to work there so I know this firsthand.
