Why does AVI Preview for Kazaa Lite always crash when i select a file to preview?

I "think", that it might be a problem with the FDDShow Filter. It says on the official forums for AVI preview, that FDDShow sometime causes those type of crashes. So Im DLing the Nimo Codec Pack now, just to see.
 
Is the nimo pack any good?
Cos Apart from FDDshow, every other pack would crash after 5minutes of playing a video file.
 
I use the Tsunami pack personally but I think they are pretty much the say. Go thru and do a custom install though and don't install everything just cause you can. It causes way to many problems..
 
Why not try the Kazaalite codec pack if you're going to use a codec pack? The basic one seems pretty good.

I could never get it to run XVid files so i went with Nimo and still couldn't. Then i went to Tsunami which works great if I chose to install both Xvid codecs.

Dont take this personally
Cos it`s F#$£&*G Crap. The Kazaa Lite Codec pack, on any video file, would crash my system completly, i had to reboot each time.
