why does av always tag ati drivers?

Just wondering. It alwys gives warnings for the danged ati drivers. You would think that be fixed by now or is ati spying on me for years, lol.^prepares for nvid jokes😛

I've never had any problems with the ATI drivers being tagged, and I've used several different AV programs during that time (Antivir, NOD32, Avast).

Have two machines with ATI drivers - have used AVG, Kaspersky, and now Vipre - never had a driver tagged. Like the man said - what is your AV ware?

add avast and avira to the list of not taggin.

But I could def understand virus scanners tagging them, ati drivers are about the most dangerous thing you can put on your computer.

Hmm.I guess i am saying what i want to say wrong.I was using avira, and i always get warning messages about unable to scan the ati drivers. Now,i just dropped in a trial of nod32,and it gives 4 notes but does'nt let you read what it could'nt scan.To tell you the truth i am in search of an av that allows more control and options upon finding something.I would really like a scan prgram that determines what to do with said virus(or false reading)immediatly and not have to wait for a complete scan.Thanks-
