Talk about a loaded title...every site disagrees with you..99% or former P4 users disagree with you...makes me wonder if you got something hosed or yuo're lying.

Zebo,
Why would I lie? Plus the matter has been resolved with help from those on this forum. I had a problem with my DVD drive being in PIO mode. Situation resolved, I'm now totally stoked with my computer.

Well..I have to say my new A64 @2550 vs old 2.4B@2.9 when using clonedvd not dvd shrink showed little speed improvement..A64 was 3-4min faster vs a non HTT P4

clonedvd...takes about 26-28min to convert with clonedvd 2.5.4.3 ...if I recall I was getting 30-32min on the P4

so in this situation I was not really impressed with the A64 vs a 2yr old cpu but it could be my Kaspersky av slowing stuff down....overall the A64 is faster
