Why does Anand always explain things we already know?

Like in every review. For example he is explaining what the north bridge, south bridge, and v-link is.

That's a rather LARGE AND SWEEPING assumption you're making to think that everybody knows.

Maybe because not everybody knows. You're not the only one who reads those articles.

Because we aint everyone. Also it makes his reviews alot longer, to me it makes them boring, but when I read them I always know they are good.

Ok the first couple of pages of Anand's review are always history and background info. If you feel that you already know it, skim it or skip it altogether.

What about the new guys that are just reading their first reviews? They need that info.

Because some of us don't always focus on the latest hardware. I become an "expert" when I need to and then fall behind the curve until I get the upgrade bug again.

Accessibility is the key to any writings.

shawnmos you are an idiot. Lets say that he stops explaining it. Then people that are new will never know. In 2 years then people reading the review will not know so he just explains it every time. That way everyone is on the same page.

God I am getting sick of your posting.

shawnmos: unless you are writing to an audience assumed to be knowledgable in the subject area it's good to fill in some data to someone who might not know yet.

BTW you have start 6% of the current first 80 threads. Especially considering that there are over 50,000 members.

If you've ever driven through District 2 (Jacksonville to Orlando, FL) or Tampa then you've probably driven over a bridge going north or a bridge going south designed by my father. :):):)
