Ok the first couple of pages of Anand's review are always history and background info. If you feel that you already know it, skim it or skip it altogether.
What about the new guys that are just reading their first reviews? They need that info.
Because some of us don't always focus on the latest hardware. I become an "expert" when I need to and then fall behind the curve until I get the upgrade bug again.
shawnmos you are an idiot. Lets say that he stops explaining it. Then people that are new will never know. In 2 years then people reading the review will not know so he just explains it every time. That way everyone is on the same page.
shawnmos: unless you are writing to an audience assumed to be knowledgable in the subject area it's good to fill in some data to someone who might not know yet.
