Why does Adobe not want you to download Flash Player with Waterfox?

I rebooted, got the update window, clicked DOWNLOAD, and it opened a link to the get.adobe.com page, where you download Flash Player plugin in your browser.

Well, the last few PCs I've done this on, Adobe's page is running some sort of evil script, and it causes the browser (Waterfox 32.0.3, newest), to disappear and reappear. The browser tries to pop up a dialog window about the script to stop it, but it never gets that far, and the browser alternates between "not responding", and the dialog popping up, disappearing, popping up, etc.

It's a real mess, and it makes it so I cannot update my Flash Player plugin. Oh well.

It's not malware running on my machine, I keep my machines very clean, and scan with Malwarebytes every week. It's definitely Adobe's page scripts.

Looks like I'm going to have to install NoScript, just to be able to download Flash Player!
