Why does a ketchep package have stronger packaging than a mustard packet?

After a quick analysis of two of such packets from Wienerschnitezl, why is the ketchep stronger in structure than the mustard?

/me slightly buzzed

For the record, these are Heniz condiments in the packet. A Del Taco sauce packet has similar packaging to the ketchep package. Perhaps its a tomato only deal?

i dunno... heinz and sysco plastic packaging suck equally hard for both ketchup and mustard, but the mayo packing is far more substatial, at least on the heinz end.

whataburger has the best ketchup packaging technology though, it comes in little cups with plastic seal on the top. plus their ketchup tastes better than anyone else's.

But look at the Soy Sauce packet, its packed in the thin, wussy mustard like plastic.

ketchup more prone to spoil
soy sauce will hardly spoil
mustard is like nuclear power...it last forever
