Why does a 2liter bottle look MUCH bigger than a 1.5L?

exactly, if you compare someone who weighs only 150lbs to someone who weighs 200lbs, you will also notice quite a difference, right?

umm, thats not 1.5 L, looks like a 1L

I think THAT is the point of the post. That a 1.5L bottle looks smaller than it really is. I've often mistaken a 1.5L for a 1L, and thought the same thing, that it looks a lot smaller than a 2L.

You may notice that the smaller bottles are more expensive per liter than the 2liter bottles. This is because the smaller bottles use spatial compression technology to fit more soda in a smaller volume of space. This has the effect of literally shrinking the atoms by about 50%. Once they leave the confines of the advanced subspace plastic polymer containment vessel, and enter normal space, the atoms return to normal size.

This is also why Mentos can cause soda to shoot out of bottles. The Mentos' coating has a side effect of reversing the spatial compression, so the atoms all try to return to their original sizes immediately. Thus the soda blasts out of the bottle.

Simple, really.
