why does 1 stick of memory show up as 64mb rather than 256mb..

Have you tried:

[*]removing your other memory and using the new one by itself?
[*]different dimm slots?

Wait a sec, does your computer think it's 64MB or just this CPU-Z program?

Well some other programs but not main programs and windows knows it 256mb and bios. I was just wondering why does some program see it has 64mb. And yes my ram is 266mhz @ 333mhz and it says the same stock.
