Why do you post here? [seriously...or not]

There seems to be a continuing conflict of interest on these forums.

Some of use off topic as a meeting place...a discussion board.
Other use it as a weblog of sorts.
Others use it as a information repository.


With all these various users browsing and posting to their hearts content, quite a few fights break out between those posting legitimate-debate organized thoughts, exclamations, and stream on consciousness/though processees.


What is your prime use for off topic?


EDIT: I am quite random.


Here at work I have nothing to do all day, so I usally post what's on my mind. If anyone needs help with a topic I know about, I'll gladly help them out as best I can.

Some days at work are extremely dull and this is a very entertaining site to visit. Not only that there are some hilarious posters on here that have me laughing many times a day. I post from home sometimes but usually it's at work and helps pass the time.

I'm not into the feuding aspect that some posters crave.
