No.

But Obama isn't any good either.

Between all these Presidents, Candidates, and Congress we really have awful representation.
Choice between "no good" and "fast track into the toilet" and I will take "no good" all day every day.

Awful post. Cry about national debt while ignoring all the trends. I guess we can see what your opinion is worth.

You can call my post awful all you want. I guess that's the way you will handle all accountability that should be directed towards King Obama, by attacking the messenger. But then again accountability isn't a liberals strong suit. It's the anti-accountability party.

If you want oversight and accountability, call on Congress to do their damn job (and not just hold some public hearings where they bloviate and don't actually do anything to change the status quo).

But the quip about the national debt is a useless platitude. What matters most is the debt:GDP ratio, which has been pretty stable.

And "King" - lol. He's simultaneously an ineffective leader who can get nothing done and a ruthless dictator who takes an active role towards the destruction of our country.

I plan to vote, because I do not wish to be led by people who wish to push their fear and hate of women, minorities, homosexuals and freedom onto me.

I plan to vote, because I do not believe in oppressing the majority for the benefit of the few (the same few from above).

I plan to vote, because religion (all though I believe in Jesus as my Lord & Savior) needs to stay out of the government - period.

I plan to vote, because personal and private choices need to be respected and not punished and overseen by the government.

I plan to vote, to oust those who have placed the above over their faces and claim to believe the same - they do not - they have hijacked the ideas of freedom, respect and tolerance and draped them over their oppressive, disrepsective and intolerant ideals & goals.

some races, the vote is close.

also, there are local races and other issues on the ballots that should be addressed.

those of us that pay taxes (income and/or property), need to ensure that we have some impact.
If no one votes; then you can not justify complaining about the results and where you taxes go and/or quality of public services.

Just like the straw on the camel, one vote in itself may not be the tipping point; but when combined with others of the same mindset, it will have an impact.

Voting a straight "R" ticket eh?? All that are in charge in NYC/NY State have a "D" beside their name.

For the first time I plan to vote in a long time because the hubris combined with convicted ignorance leads me to think that until parties can think rationally beyond political concerns that they are best neutered by their opposition. Since Democrats are now in power it's time to roll that back a bit.

Yeah we've been digging out of the fiscal hole for long enough. Time to throw some more dirt back on top of us.

R and D are using a tried and true formula. So vote for the other parties.

I assume the point of voting 3rd party is to not "give" your vote to a R or a D. Which by the way, is the exact same thing as just not voting to begin with.

Since I'd rather not waste my time sending in a ballad or driving down to a voting booth, I'll just not "give" my vote to some asshat who doesn't even know his own policies by simply not participating.

I like to be on Jury Duty so I vote. But I will never once again vote for a R or D. But are two sides of the same coin. I only vote for "I" at this point. Don't care of their platform.

Good news! Voting is not a requirement to be called for jury duty!

You know, spinning actually requires backing whatever you think you are 'flipping'.

Just saying so, doesn't really mean it's valid.

Then again, you are a dismissive misanthrope,.. did remember you shoo you hands at the screen when you replied to my post??

So in other words you're just spewing your normal BS as you will not vote to change anything and vote in your representatives yet again.

So you will vote for the status quo. From what I've read from you, you are more intelligent than that.

Translation: hur dur dur.

You have nothing dude bro. Nothing. And, you come off as if you have something.

Get a grip and pull yourself out of whatever misery you are wallowing in. Because whatever flipping, turning, spinning, countering, as-a-matter-of-fact, you think you are doing,.. you are not.

You are just stuck.

It's a shame.

Permanent absentee voter, so it only costs me a stamp.
We got two Democrats running in my district, one of them is a corporatist who proudly tells everyone he's endorsed by some of the same CEOs who colluded to suppress engineer wages. We really need more populists and less corporatists in the Democratic party, so I am voting against this guy and for the incumbent. I am also voting against all propositions, as usual, because I don't believe in direct democracy.

Called you out on your flaky 'nu-uhs' and then you go off to your usual 'wha, wha ah do?' Or, in this particular reply, you are baiting me to get you into your 'wha, wha ah do?' routine.

Nothing new here, but, I'm already at the end of our usual "exchange". Since I knew where this would end up, the fault is mine - I bothered responding to your post to begin with.

I wish you all the best - you need it.

i could vote in local elections if they weren't tainted by governments further away. articles of confederation are good for majority rule concurrent with minority rights given enough time. the system we have now, especially with 14th Amendment, is planning centrally all the time.

i also don't like how the presidential candidates can't choose their own as their back up. Constitutionally Disallowing incumbents consecutive terms minimizes the imperial and secretive vice presidency and the 2 party system. But that won't work with the 14th Amendment and the tradition of centralization that came from it
