recently, i've been thinking about this. as a result, sometimes i'll pick up the phone and say "speak" or "house of pain."

Just get Caller ID and then you can answer the phone with "Hi Xxxx, how's it going?"

in spanish they say "digame" = "talk to me"
i dunno, some people say "____ residence" where "____" is defined as their last name
i sometimes answer with "domino's pizza, is this for delivery or take out?"

"It's your dime, start talkin'"
"WTF DO YOU WANT!"
"Yeah?"
"WHAT"

mix and match or use 'em all at once!

At work I just answer with "Tyler" (my first name).

On my cell phone I answer based on who's calling me, since it has built-in caller ID.

I don't really have a phone at home. The only reason I have a phone line is for DSL.
