Why do Women hate The 3 Stooges?

I love the 3 stooges, been watching them on and off since I was in grade school. But I've also noticed that my mom hated them, my sister hated them, my wife hates them, and talking with other women, they all seem to have a genuine disgust of their type of humor.

HELP!

The Three Stooges were comedy geniuses. Most women don't like slapstick comedy, but luckily for me my wife thinks the Stooges are funny.

It's probably not that they don't like the Stooges in particular, it's that they don't like slapstick in general.
