I guess the main issue is that now that we are dating I am inclined to patronize establishments that I normally wouldn't on my own, or with plutonic friends:

Thats very honorable, and i am glad you think she is worth it...

Statments like that are the problem. Unfortunately women equate "being worth it" if you spend money on them. Believe me, they notice how much you spend and the more, the better.

let me tell you from experience, that is not true...going out to a nice dinner once in a while is thoughtful, but all the time...well, i would take that as she just like you cuz she thinks you have infinate amounts of money. Sure, she may get pissed of you just take her to taco bell all the time, but going to 5 star places is over doing it

I don't disagree with you at all, but this thread begin with a guy blowing through money in a 2 week period of time. Then again, every woman has different standards. I know my gf would never want to go to a 5 star place and actually does prefer Taco Bell (don't ask), but I've met many-a-women that would be very happy being wined and dined at a fancy place on a regular basis.

I always split bills with my b/f and ex-, and maybe that's why I have never met a guy who is willing to blow money on me. Sometimes I wonder if guys, like dogs or other pets, could be trained. The more money the girl uses, the more money they are willing to spend on the girl. I will not conduct this experiment though; money could never buy dignity.

This thread is more than bordering on offensive! In my experience having any sort of a social life costs a bit of money,be it dating or hanging out with friends.How much money is strictly up to you.If you feel women are only with you because of what you buy for them perhaps you need to start looking for a different type of women.
