Why do we have to sticky a LAN event for two months?

Thread in question.

I know I am not the only one who hates stickies (unless they are important). Why in the hell does this have to stay up for two months when only a small handful will show up?
I dont think its to much to ask that it (and threads like it) be stickied maybe three weeks before the event vs 2 months. Its cluttering up the forums.

All LAN party threads have been stickied when requested.

There are now a total of 4 threads glued in OT.
That does not seem to be a clutter.

My thread wasnt singling out a LAN event. It could be a ATOT meet, or whatever. It was directed at stickies.

At least stickies like this are much better than the Adobe eLearning nonsense in many of the hardware sections. :p

yeah i did. you're still a noob. you specifically call out a LAN thread by posting "thread in question" with a link to a person who has been running lans in georgia with karsten for a long time, and is now running one in florida.
