Why do we have a search button?

no offense man, but if you're posting here on a regular basis, the chances that somebody is already laughing or teasing you is 10:1

I use it all the time; especially the advanced search button.

I put my username in the corresponding field to find my recent posts, rather than hunt for them or recieve a myriad of e-mails filling my inbox with notifications.
