We have had similar things happen with the other projects. It is best things like this get fixed ASAP for the longer they drag on the harder it is to get someone to give up crunched WUs (etc.) and join the "primary" TeAm.

For the sake of uniformity I suggest "owners" / "founders" / "whatevertheyarecalled" name the team: TeAm AnandTech

We have a lot of different versions of our team name out there but the one I'm suggesting seems to be the one used most by the projects with the largest participation.

Hope idlorj is amenable to your suggestion.

I haven't seen anything about "deleting" a team once it is started.

I have moved to the other team with all of the members.

The one I joined is the first one that was listed on the site.

Preferably the "wrong" team should be re-named to something completely different, so there's no way to mis-take the teams. ;)

As for team-name, AFAIK all BOINC-only projects is using TeAm AnandTech. But, you've also got World Community Grid that uses Anandtech, and Folding@home that uses Team AnandTech.

Not sure, but since WCG is built around UD-client, wouldn't this mean that just like in UD it's impossible to change team-name? If so, WCG will never line-up with the other BOINC-projects...

Also, haven't Folding@home the same problem, there it's impossible to change team-name?

If Folding@home can't change team-name, when they starts exporting BOINC-stats it's a possibility the small difference in team-name will break the cross-project-team-stats. Meaning, it's a possibility the team-name on all the BOINC-teams must be re-named to Team AnandTech to re-align the BOINC cross-project-team-stats...
