Why do we care so much about Duke Nukem?

Shadow Warrior 2 would be awesome. I loved cheating and using the nuke launcher in the first level to blow stuff up. I never did buy the full game though, I just played through the shareware version hundreds of times.

That said, Duke Nukem looks awesome. It is a style of game that just isn't done much right now, so it is a fresh look at the FPS genre after so many semi-realistic and gritty shooters. Just like the semi-realistic and gritty shooters were a welcome break from the over-the-top crass shooters like Duke Nukem 3D, Redneck Rampage, Blood (another good game I wouldn't mind seeing a sequel to), and Shadow Warrior in the late 90's.

It is just nice to see something different to be honest.
